Energy Management Project for Oil and Fuel

28 November 2025

The Company has implemented a systematic and comprehensive approach to oil and fuel management, beginning with the establishment of refueling stations within its distribution centers and including the regular maintenance of transport vehicles. These measures have significantly improved the efficiency of energy control and management.

Moreover, since 2023, the Company has begun using EV trucks for delivery and has adopted a policy to continuously promote the use of electric and hybrid vehicles instead of fuel-powered ones for both delivery and office operations. This initiative aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transportation and the use of fossil fuel vehicles. By 2025, the Company plans to replace fossil fuel-powered office vehicles with electric vehicles in at least eight branches and will continue to transition toward sustainable electric-powered transport in the future.

Furthermore, The Walk Shopping Center has introduced electric motorcycles for short-distance deliveries and for inter-departmental communication within nearby areas. Since 2023, eight branches are using electric motorcycles.

The Company’s use of oil and fuel (including liquefied petroleum gas-LPG) covers various operations, such as product delivery by Index Living Mall, transportation services by contractors (hired trucks), delivery vehicles from affiliated factories, office vehicles for Company operations, and LPG used as fuel for forklifts in affiliated factories. In 2024, fuel consumption increased compared to the previous year, corresponding to higher sales volumes. Details are as follows:

In addition, the Company has implemented a project called “Green Logistics” transportation and distribution powered by clean energy, utilizing 100% electric vehicles for regional distribution, with a total of seven vehicles (three EV trucks and four six-wheel EVs). A 150 kWh EV charger has been installed at the warehouse, with operations starting at the end of 2023. The project began with routes in the Eastern region (Pattaya–Chonburi) and is planned to expand to the Northern and Northeastern regions during 2024–2025, covering provinces such as Nakhon Sawan, Phitsanulok, Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, and others. Additionally, the Company is optimizing product designs and packaging to suit EV transportation, aiming to maximize space utilization and reduce the number of delivery trips. Route management is also being adjusted to match the characteristics of electric vehicles, ensuring the most efficient and cost-effective operations.
