Water Recycling and Reuse Project (Zero Discharge)
The Company has initiated a project to recycle treated wastewater for reuse within its branches to maximize the efficient use of water resources without discharging water into the external environment. The Company has also conducted surveys and monitored the quality of wastewater from the branch treatment systems, ensuring that the tested water meets government-approved standards, is safe, and can be used for activities such as watering plants around the branches. This initiative has already been implemented at Index Living Mall branches in Udon Thani and Phitsanulok, with plans to expand the project to an additional five branches, expected to be gradually installed in 2025, in order to increase the Company’s use of recycled water.
In 2024, the Company used 15,471.20 cubic meters of recycled water, accounting for 4.70% compared to the 2023 baseline. Moreover, the Company has set a target to increase the use of recycled water by 10% within 2027, relative to the 2023 baseline.
