Index Living Mall Launches the ‘Idea Italiving’ Project, Donating Sliding Panels to Inspire Art and Design Students

Index Living Mall Public Company Limited (ILM) has partnered with leading educational institutions, including Thonburi Vocational College, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Design, to launch the ‘Idea Italiving’ project. The initiative aims to inspire young art and design students by providing 2,000 sliding door panels worth over 4 million baht. These materials support creative skill development that can be applied to furniture design such as tables, cabinets, and chairs, reinforcing ILM’s ESG mission to promote education for sustainable social development.

Ms. Kridsanok Pattamasatayasonti, Managing Director of ILM, stated that as a leader in the Living Lifestyle Mall business, the Company recognizes the value of supporting new‑generation designers who combine creativity with modern, functional innovation. ILM is committed to equipping design, drafting, and architecture students with the tools they need to study, explore, and create, with the goal of enabling them to showcase high‑quality work both domestically and internationally.

ILM has collaborated with Thonburi Vocational College to donate 2,000 Italiving sliding door panels valued at over 4 million baht. This initiative encourages young talents tocreate practical furniture designs that support learning and skill development, strengthening their potential for future careers.

Ms. Kridsanok added that the purpose of the donation is to spark inspiration and empower students to express their creativity using high‑quality Italiving wooden panels. These can be used in coursework and adapted into furniture pieces such as tables, cabinets, and chairs. ILM believes strongly in the creativity of Thai youth and is committed to supporting opportunities that help them develop skills and create positive social impact in line with the Company’s sustainable development policy.

She further emphasized ILM’s long‑standing commitment to ESG, particularly in the area of education. The Company has continuously supported Thai education through activities such as improving school learning environments, providing furniture and sports equipment, and organizing competitions like the ‘DIPROM PATHFINDER – Craft Innovation Awards’ and the ‘Idea Italiving’ project, giving students platforms to express their creativity.

Ms. Kridsanok concluded that ILM will continue contributing positively to society by empowering youth creativity. She noted that creativity is essential for social progress and drives innovation in the furniture industry and beyond. The Company hopes that the sliding panel donation will serve as a meaningful stepping stone for emerging designers, helping elevate Thailand’s design talent to the forefront of the industry.
