Forest Restoration Planting Project

The Company implemented the “Forest Restoration Planting Project Year 1” in collaboration with the Department of Water Resources and the Royal Forest Department under the “Care the Wild: Plant & Protect” initiative. A total of 2,600 tree saplings were planted, covering 13 rai of land in Ban Dan Nok Community, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, comprising nine species such as Makha Mong (Afzelia xylocarpa), Teak, Teng, and others. The project was carried out in cooperation with five local villages, engaging over 200 community members, with the aim of creating community forests and enhancing carbon absorption capacity. The Company is committed to maintaining the trees for three consecutive years, with an estimated carbon dioxide absorption capacity of 7.02 tCO2e per year.

Low Emission Support Scheme (LESS)

The Company has participated in the Low Emission Support Scheme (LESS) in collaboration with the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) (TGO) under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment since 2020. The program aims to support organizational greenhouse gas reduction initiatives through projects that help minimize environmental impacts by continuously improving operational processes. The Company also seeks certification of greenhouse gas emission reductions achieved through various activities within the organization.

The Company's LESS-certified projects include:

  1. Rooftop Solar Power Generation Project: Installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on building rooftops to generate renewable electricity and reduce dependence on grid electricity.
  2. Waste Segregation and Recycling Project: Separation of recyclable waste materials to promote recycling and reduce waste sent to landfills.
  3. Organic Waste and Used Cooking Oil Management Project: Reuse of used cooking oil and conversion of food waste into animal feed, thereby reducing waste disposal and associated greenhouse gas emissions.
  4. High-Efficiency Refrigeration Replacement Project: Replacement of existing refrigeration equipment with higher-efficiency systems to reduce energy consumption and emissions.
  5. Electric Motorcycle (EV Bike) Utilization Project: Adoption of electric motorcycles for operational activities to reduce fossil fuel consumption and transportation-related emissions.

The Company began studying greenhouse gas management across all operational processes and preparing its Corporate Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventory in 2023. The inventory was developed in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and the guidelines of the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) (TGO). The Company assessed and monitored its Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO), covering both direct greenhouse gas emissions and removals (Scope 1) and indirect greenhouse gas emissions from energy consumption (Scope 2).

During the initial implementation period from 2023 to 2024, the reported data had not yet undergone external verification or official certification.

In 2025, Index Living Mall Public Company Limited and its group companies completed a comprehensive greenhouse gas emissions and removals report covering Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions. The report was independently verified by TEAM Consulting Engineering and Management Public Company Limited to confirm the accuracy and conformity of the data with the Corporate Carbon Footprint assessment standard of the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO), which is based on the internationally recognized ISO 14064-1 standard and the GHG Protocol.

The verification was conducted at the Limited Assurance level, and the Company subsequently received official certification of its Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions from TGO.

The results of this assessment and certification provide an important baseline for the Company's systematic greenhouse gas reduction planning and management efforts. At the same time, the Company is studying and developing methodologies for collecting and managing data related to other indirect greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 3), covering activities throughout the value chain, such as supplier transportation, raw material procurement, and product distribution.

These efforts are intended to enhance the Company's readiness for comprehensive greenhouse gas disclosure in accordance with international standards and best practices in the future.

Greenhouse Gas Emissions Results

Based on the Company's greenhouse gas assessment conducted in 2025, total Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions amounted to 36,577.00 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO₂eq).

The year-on-year performance comparison is presented in the following table. The results reflect the Company's ongoing efforts to manage and reduce greenhouse gas emissions through energy efficiency improvements, the adoption of renewable energy, and the implementation of greenhouse gas reduction initiatives under its sustainability and climate change management programs.

Detailed annual performance data are summarized in the table below.

Total Greenhouse Gas Emissions (tCO2eq) 2023 2024 2025 (baseline)
Greenhouse Gas Emissions Scope 1 3,658.00 3,923.00 9,147.00
Greenhouse Gas Emissions Scope 2 23,318.00 23,624.00 27,430.00
Greenhouse Gas Emissions Scope 3 n/a n/a n/a
Total Greenhouse Gas Emissions 26,976.00 27,549.00 36,577
Greenhouse Gas Emissions (Scope 1 และ Scope 2) tCO2eq per Million Baht of Revenue 3.13 3.05 3.66
Greenhouse Gas Emissions Intensity Tonnes of Carbon Dioxide Equivalent per Square Meter (tCO2eq/sq.m.) 0.0216 0.0218 0.029

Note: In 2025, the Company's greenhouse gas emissions inventory was verified by an independent external verifier and certified for the first time. Accordingly, 2025 has been established as the baseline year for future greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets and performance tracking.

The Company has participated in the Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program (T-VER) with the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. This participation demonstrates that the solar rooftop power generation project at Index Living Mall branches has been officially registered. A total of 23 branches is included in the program, as follows:

  • In 2022, Subproject Group 1 (CPA-01) covering 7 branches, with a total emission reduction of 1,571 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent per year (tCO2e/year).
  • In 2023, Subproject Group 2 (CPA-02) covering 7 branches, with a total emission reduction of 1,482 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent per year (tCO2e/year).
  • In 2024, Subproject Group 3 (CPA-03) covering 9 branches, with a total emission reduction of 1,599 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent per year (tCO2e/year).
