Water Recycling and Reuse Project (Water Reuse / Zero Discharge)

01 December 2025

To enhance water resource efficiency and reduce wastewater discharge, the company has implemented the “Water Reuse” project, which involves recycling treated wastewater for reuse within branch areas. Water treated through the Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR) system is reused for secondary activities such as landscape irrigation and cleaning of surrounding areas.

The quality of treated water is tested and verified by government-accredited laboratories to ensure compliance with applicable standards and to confirm that the reused water is safe and environmentally sound.

Currently, the project has been successfully completed at the Udon Thani and Phitsanulok branches. The company is in the process of expanding the project to an additional five branches with suitable conditions and potential for water reuse by 2030, with the aim of increasing the proportion of recycled water use and progressing toward a Zero Discharge approach. Zero Discharge refers to the practice of eliminating the discharge of wastewater into the external environment.

In 2025, the company recorded a total water reuse volume of 14,170.40 cubic meters, representing an increase of 1,141.36 cubic meters, or 8.76%, compared to the 2023 base year. The company has set a target to increase the proportion of water reuse by 10% by 2030, supporting efficient and sustainable water resource management.
